Family Spotlight

Often times ST is invited to a family home to celebrate an occasion that is deserving of professional portraiture.  Some times because family lives out of town, a visit is reason enough.  Such was the case for this family.  Taken on the family homestead grounds, along Walnut Creek.  The Richard Bradigan Family.

Generally, we start with the entire goup as this is the reason we are all here.  To make a well done portrait.  We seek out a location that suits our needs and create a cohesive and visually interesting group composition.  Didn't the family do an excellent job with color coordination?  Can you see that they are enjoying this time together?  We all are.

Next, we take the time to do some smaller, important groups.  First is mom and dad who have enjoyed a long marriage, if I remember it right , almost 48 years of  marriage! (thanks Linda for the affirmation on that)  Here in the above middle image is the core family followed by brother and sister.   Because Melinda lives away, the two don't get to see eachother much = photograph!  Mom and dad want this image, Grandma Stelmach wants this, Aunt Linda wants it and so does Kyle and Melinda.

Here above is an image not to be missed.  Four generations!  I suggest you look for this group in any wedding or event you do as it is important, not always for the moment but certainly for the future of our children and theirs.  Heritage.  History.

Followed by a more pictorial image of Melinda and her children interacting together, we don't always have to be looking and smiling at the camera, sometimes we instead, allow the camera to look in on life as it happens.

Now, the newlyweds.  Congratulations you guys!  Chuck and Melinda plus the children.  Nice to have.

And we end right where the children started.  Did I mention when I arrived, several members of the family were playing in the creek?  We had some fun just letting Jessica and Ty play while we looked on (and photographed, of course)  They love Grandma and Grandpas land.  A lot different from their home in Florida.  I think I heard the children picked staying back and playing in the creek instead of going to Niagara Falls.... I can certainly relate.

Thank you all for your cooperation, it really was fun and a beautiful evening outside.  I know you are still enjoying your Storybooks and wall images.  Thank you so much for choosing ST!
