Formal Family Portraiture
Formal attire and furnishings and a certain amount of passive space between family members has an entirely different look and feel to the portrait. Classic that stands the test of time. A complete contrast to an outdoor casual but very fitting to the Professional Family. Individual person formals are certainly an option for the working professional that needs a professional image of themselves to promote their work. I have done this very thing for Real Estate Agents, Attorneys (both the Northern Chautauqua Bar Association and the Jamestown Bar Association) and Politicians.

Family Outdoor Portrait Park Casual
Every year we add to our 3 acre Portrait Park on the studio property. This image was a seasonal creation. We have a large beautiful pond with fountain and also a Beach Scene complete with boat, dock and sand. If the creek interests you, Walnut Creek runs right behind our property. Sometimes all we use is a non-descript location on the freshly groomed yard so that the only focus is the family and faces.

Family On Location
STPhotography loves to travel. I understand and encourage families to be photographed in a location that has significance to them. Do you have a favorite place to hang out and enjoy your family time? Back yard, creek gorge, state land, lake park...where ever you enjoy spending time is a good place for your family portrait. Do you have a grand home? Why not consider your portrait inside your home? Extended Family on Location
You cannot imagine how many of these I do. Family Reunions, 50th Wedding Anniversaries, family birthday...any event that is bringing all the family together is a big event and is a great time for family portraiture. Generally we work with the Extended family group folllowed by each individual family. I can get alot of excellent portraits in an hour's session time. You can even arrange for online viewing and ordering if you and others are leaving town after the event. Give me a call and tell me the dates all the family is in town and we'll get planning.
